The Three Little Pigs

Once upon a time there was an old mother pig and three baby pigs. They all lived happily, but when the mother pig stopped working the three baby pigs had to go into the world.
The first pig met a man with some straw and asked if it could have some to build a house.
The second pig met a man with some sticks, and borrowed some to make its house.
The third pig met a man with some bricks and asked to borrow some to build its house.
One day a big, bad wolf arrived. It went to the first pig’s straw house and knocked on the door.
“Little pig, little pig, let me come in.”
“Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin!” the pig answered.
“Then I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in.”
So the wolf huffed, and he puffed, and he blew the straw house down. The pig ran to the second stick house.
The wolf then went to the second pig’s stick house.
“Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in.”
“Not by the hair on our chinny chin chins!”
“Then I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in.”
And so the wolf huffed, and he puffed, and he blew the house down. The two pigs ran to the third pig’s brick house.
So the wolf went to the third house.
“Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in.”
“Not by the hair on our chinny chin chins!”
“Then I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in.”
So the wolf huffed, and he puffed, but this time the wolf could not blow the house down. The wolf looked at the house and thought for a minute. Then he had an idea: he would climb down the chimney.
The wolf climbed on to the roof of the house, and began to climb down the chimney. Unfortunately for him the pigs saw what he was doing and lit a fire. They put a big pot of hot water on the fire and waited for the wolf.
‘Splash!’ The wolf fell into the water, and the pigs put the lid on the pot. Then they cooked the wolf.
